+1 to the paint. First burn was outside about 100 ft away or so, I think there's a pic of it a few posts back. But yes, for sure. If I get bored maybe next season or so I'll go over it with stove paint or something. We'll see how it goes.

This weekend got some wood split, restacked, covered. *whew* 
Took the rest of the day to build up a platform at the bottom of the hill for my blind.
