Owen, does it take a special stove? What are the dimensions of the sauna? and do you insulate the walls, floor and roof?

 Did you make the door?

Not a special stove, but not too big ( 6' x 8')as it does have insulation in the walls and roof. The floor does not as the cedar decking sheds water on though to the ground. The decking boards on the floor are tight together, but still don't stop water.

 Yes I make the doors.

It's a customer's, but I have two of my own, one at home and one at the cabin. I get the chills sometimes. I love a warm sauna. Good for my bad sinus too.

Nice work! Similar size, but way prettier, as ours. Curious how you're making steam off the stove -- a box of rocks on the top? Pot of boiling water? We're using an old Jotl, too small for our cabin, but A-OK for a sauna size space. I don't have a good steaming system figured yet.
