I made the upstairs just over 6, and the lower is about 6'6".
upstairs I wanted to be able to stand up to get dressed. it makes for a tall building about 15' high.

did you use treated plywood for the floor or put a vapor barrier down first being that close to the ground?? That was the biggest thing that held me up on my build was figuring out if I wanted pressure treated plywood or regular. I ended up raising up my building, which added challenges, and going the 3/4" T&G plywood.

I just used ordinary 3/8 plywood directly under the floor joist. I spent lots of time thinking about it too and finally just did it. the last cabin I did was 10 years old when I sold it and it was still good but it had a bit more air gap under the floor.
if it weren't for critters I would have just left the insulation open and just used strapping to hold it up.
I see on the forum where someone has used metal mesh under the joist which would have been good.
the plywood on top of the floor joist is regular 5/8 plywood and its not treated either

I started in early june this is what we have. it still needs some downstairs interior work to be completed but it is almost finished. it has 7 foot ceiling downstairs and 6'6" ceiling upstairs. with our queen size bed upstairs. no picture of it but upstairs has a door onto a small balcony and out doors on the end wall is the outdoor kitchen.

With my apple phone you always have take the photos with the return button to your right. But if you don't and the photo is turned, I've been able to flip it in the apple photo folder.

It must look hilarious through the windows but I sit on the top step and put my socks on. Then I stand on the 3rd step down on the ladder to put my pants on.
The 4ft loft is great for sleeping but challenging for putting on pants.

Very nice. I would add one more horizontal trim board to the bottom of the exterior wall on the shower shack (cut the two vertical trim boards between the windows back and add the board above the 45 degree braces). It will make the façade look more complete.
