Had some of these installed on our house in the city.
Every light has its own address so sections can be lit or say every 5th light on a section can be lit. Colours, brightness, fade etc are all customizable.
Reasons:
- wife liked them on a relative’s home
- Alternative to climbing a ladder to hang Christmas lights
- better side yard driveway lighting (have spot lights but they are never the greatest for driveway aress)
- better back of house patio / deck lighting
- pot light effect on front of house
However I did not see all the incredible number of lighting patterns etc as much of a reason. Though the Halloween options might be fun.
Might be more fun to have on a lakeside or mountainside cabin.
