There are places one should not build. Our county zoning office has the local maps and checks this before we apply for a building permit. Those local maps start here; https://www.fema.gov/flood-maps
Then our zoning official in their DEQ role asks how much land we are clearing and for the sediment control plan. I have a new restaurant client that is wanting to buy a big yellow machine and save some money. This is from last night's emails, we were talking about food service certification and a big yellow taxi ticket.
