 They remind me of grain silo's in Ohio. For grain you would stack sections on top of one another till you reach the desired height. Interesting.

 Don't think they would work too good in cold weather climate.

 Mother Earth News did a story within the last year or so about a number of folks who have converted silos to comfortable homes.  Most of them were architects and/or folks with deep pockets as I recall.  I think these are actually kind of cute - has anybody checked into how they're priced?
