How did you do hunting turkey up north this year? I'm sure you run in to snow.

we leave in less than 2 weeks, so i am hoping for the better weather...........
killed a nice gobbler here ....22 lbs 10 in beard and 1 1/4 spurs...........
been so on the cabin ,i have only hunted twice............headed to the lumber yard AGAIN now.....

this was almost 3 weeks ago.........at the new camp

walls are up now and sheathed, and rafters Monday and metal roof hopefully by the end of next week.

Awesome. When you get back show us a picture. SD got about 10 inches of snow this week but not sure if it is where you are going. It will melt fast now. I haven't hunted yet because I can't find them this year. I think the winter put a hurt on them. I hope not but it doesn't look good. I week ago I seen some turkey's about a Qtr. mile away and called in a nice tom. I was along the road and we came 35 yards from me he crossed the road 4 times looking for the hen. I was not hunting and would never shoot one from the road I was just having some fun with him.

Yep, they gpt the snow but will be gone when you get there. Good luck.
