Prime members for a very long time. With Prime the #1 benefit is free shipping, for us often it's next day, even by 5am. I've bought tractor parts, dishwasher parts, generator carbs, batteries, even a generator. They sell just about everything, even a house lol. They also deliver groceries etc. Prime is worth it though we do occasionally order from Sam's club and I placed a Walmart order just to see the drone drop my package off. That order took about 20 minutes.

I've used ebay a few times for really old parts no longer made, that worked well but shipping cost and time can be painful.

Tracking on Ebay is dismal, I think AI just plots a route based on address and makes it up.....
However, the shipping time is kinda like the old early days of pers computers response time, as RT got faster the more impatient I became when it slowed a bit. And I bet some of us remember ordering from Sears or M-Ward catalogs. Im not so old that I remember the Railway Express though, but compared to that 'slow shipping' today is really express from what Ive read.
I do agree that Amazon is, well, amazing. That they can get product to me in a couple days when it takes the USPS 7-10 days is outstanding.

Fired up the cannon and ordered new injectors, return rail and glow plugs for the skid steer thru Amazon Saturday after trying for 3 days to get it going. The mail lady just delivered it. That is pretty amazing. Here's hoping.
