I got a pretty sweet deal on an Artic Cat. It's only got 980 miles on it. It's a 2006. Got a winch with remote control. And he gave the maintenance records. IMG_20251125_1716484.jpg

2500 lbs. I got it for $1000 bucks. I did a little math. It doesn't have an hour meter, but it does have an LCD dashboard that you can't tamper with. Mileage/years averages to a little over 50 miles per year. Hell, I put 6 miles on it since yesterday. Lol I probably put more miles per year on my lawnmower

Im thinking that winch ought to be able to totally lift it off the ground if grappled over a tree limb. That would make working on the bottom stuff way easy

Another new toy. I didn't buy it but my son in law did. He's not a petite fella, lol. 6' + 200 + pounds. Anyhoos, he bought this what I now call a "Mani Bike" This thing is very stable and comfortable to ride, and if you know how to tweek the governor, quite fast and powerful. He easily ripped up a pretty steep hill. It's got a very good led headlight, great suspension etc. My eldest daughter was able go through our trails, some spots with hairpin turns, while giving my grandson a ride, with no problems. She loved it so much, when we got done with riding daylight and after dark. She ordered one online. I got behind my sil on the cart path leading to the trails on my Arctic cat with a speedo. He easily hit 27 mph in about 200 feet. Super fun. Not too expensive. Maybe Paul might consider getting one to replace the elusive legendary rm 80. Lol

Nice, was that a Temu purchase? When I was looking those things were way cheaper than Amazon. I’m all set though, the old RM80 has been replaced by a Honda trail something. 4 wheels and a reverse.

I believe he got it from tractor supply. Not sure where my other daughter ordered hers. I forgot that you got that 4 wheeler. Ain't nuthin' wrong with a geezer mobile. I've got a couple myself. Today, after an awesome day playing. I am reminded of what my late wife used to tell me. "You need to stop acting like your 40 years old... you're not!" Like always, that statement is correct. I feel like I am a 5 star member of an outlaw geriatric off road club called. The Sons of Arthritis. Today I am sure I could be elected the president of the Ibuprofen Chapter. Lolol.

Here's another. Son in Laws boss gave him this one. His kids never really used it. Virtually brand new. Got a piece of crap in the carb, so it leaked gas out the overflow in their garage...... Not acceptable. Get rid of it. The guy isn't mechanically inclined, has more money than he needs, and not smart enough to turn off the petcock on the tank

Boy those little Honda engines haven’t changed in 50+ years. Here’s me on my first bike around 1970, looks like the engine would swap right in. Wonder if any part would, wrist pin maybe.
Still going with what got them there.

Speaking of retro, my old cabin building pal, who is a bit older and crumblier, saw one of these and wants to get one. IMG_6597.jpeg

That's a good one! I wonder if it has an 8 track player.
