I came across this the other day and thought I'd share with this group. I know some people here live completely off grid and like to make their own stuff and this seems right up that alley.
How to make your own laundry detergent... Liquid or Powdered.

I may give this a try. As I grow older, I have developed more and more allergies.

i did this for a long time.pretty nice.
need to get back at it.i just use the 64 oz.liquid laundry soap for one dollar at the dollar store.
