I think there's a member or two here who are also pretty talented with a saw? I forget their names..

I'm a wee bit less artistic than this, so I grabbed a couple freebie cable reels, disassembled them, and made my tree trunk into a side table for the hammock. I was going to be adventurous and make a lazy susan assembly out of it, but it works just fine the way it is.

Saweeet! Thats what I love about hydraulics. You would have a tough time using that sawdust in your compost toilet though.

Hehe! Yup, that about the same thing I had in mind.
I like the lazy susan idea though.
