thanks for the pic's............i really like how the staircase looks, i am going to re-use a ladder/steps built out of 150 year old covered bridge.......i had some guys staying in my old camp from NH, and they rebuilt the bridge after a flood in early 90's destroyed the bridge. They built me step's to my loft in my old cabin.it's heart pine and looks like your ladder/steps. You really did a great job on your build.

ps--having the sawmill cut me 3--- 4 x6's out of cedar this week for beams for my ceiling, looks like your's in your outdoor patio area, that looks great as well.

WOW. You have done an incredible job, and paid so much attention to detail. I love it. I would be living there full time!!

You have done such an awesome job. I have my sketches being drawn up as blue prints by a friend of mine. I have a walk out basement dug and poured already. I am hoping to start roughing it in within a month or 2

awesome place. question: the loft is 12x12, how big is the small room off of the loft? Is this just for storage or could it actually be used as a room, possibly by adding a dormer of some sort?

There is a full room over the front porch that is accessed by way of the loft, dimensions of 24'xabout 6' and there is also a little cubby hole room for storage on the opposite side of the loft that is about 4' wide by about 10' long. We had to build a knee wall on that side to help support the roof structure so we used the space for storage.

I got the stove from one of my clients. He had taken it out of his house and it was sitting in his shed, unused. I bought it from him but then had to do some fabrication work, fitted it with a new blower and shroud to catch the heat. It works great but the blower is a little louder than what I wanted, thanks for the comments.

INCREDIBLE! This place is a total stunner. So many small details that I love about this place. The stairway incorporates my favorite part of TomChum's place. The covered patio area is exceptionally well done, and the gate is just fantastic. This place is my favorite so far. (Unfortunately, it makes me realize that I have a LOT of work to do)
