Looks good and you explained it well. I too will go out the wall don't have al the things gathered up yet to complete it but will get started.

Your side exit option is a "snorkel" side wall exit. The other option is
through roof. If through roof, you will transition from single wall to
double wall via cylindrical or square "ceiling support" installed from stove to the "ceiling support" transition. The single wall flue sockets into the bottom of the ceiling support and the double wall flue is inserted from the roof and connects to the interior flue connection. Subsequently, the "storm flashing" & "storm collar" are installed + the "rain cap". Flashings are specified by roof type and available for all roof pitch angles for metal roof, shingle, etc.
