I use 1 cup to my tote but add a bit weekly reducing the amount as my water volume goes down.
Technically should be able to drink it safely but we don’t. I will rinse my toothbrush with it though
Chlorine dissipates so if you want to play it safe a bit added weekly is the recommended way.
