We are in the Yukon about 3hrs northeast of Whitehorse. We purchased the hotub from a company in Sechelt BC. In the winter it takes about 6 hrs to go from 0C to 38 - 40C Probably only 4hrs in the summer. We pump water directly from the lake 102_2737.JPG

Hey guys, just got back from 4 terrific months at the cabin David, everything was still great, there is some checking as you mentioned, but just a little character. I chalked it all the way round and I'm very happy with how it looks. No condensation problems at all. It gets very hot very quickly, and I keep the window open until it gets to -15. IMG_0095.JPG

I hear you on the canadian government thing, I'm next door to the west. If ever a gun belonged on a cabin wall that's the one.

Was going through some old emails I had sent myself and came upon a link to this thread.
BC thunder, how's the cabin holding out? Any more recent pics you can share?
Cheers,
David

Hi David, those last few pics I posted were the latest I have, but I'm planning on heading to the cabin for a few months sometime in the near future. Did you end up building something, or are you still in the planning stages.........

Thanks Snobdds. I'd like to see Cabinbuilder's next project be "small aussie forum", she's my pride and joy. Finally slowing down abit at 10 years old now, but definitely still going........
