dwarfranch Member	# Posted: 3 Apr 2023 21:43 - Edited by: dwarfranch Reply  My 16x32 cabin is on 4 skids with joists on a 6” pad with the skids on 4x8x16 blocks—4 criss crossed over each other and spaced about 5’ across all 4 skids. mcallv77 Member	# Posted: 28 Aug 2023 21:00 Reply  Hello, We just built a cabin very similar to the above cabin- we put a on a slab. Is there any ideas for skirting options to button it up. I dont think mobile home skiriting will work, as its too low to the ground. Any suggestions would be great!
dwarfranch Member	# Posted: 29 Aug 2023 04:26 Reply  We needed a small crawl space for the plumbing and electrical. The shortest we could do was 12”. That cut hardiboard that was used that can be made any size

spencerin Member	# Posted: 29 Aug 2023 13:52 Reply  I've seen cabins built on skids but placed on a concrete pad/slab, so maybe that's what mcallv77 has going on. mcallv77, why can't you use mobile mobile skirting, or similar type of material, cut down to size?
