 Oh. Em. Gee. on that Huntsman spider. Shiver. I thought Texas tarantulas were awful but those are a real rival because of the LONG LEGS! No, I wouldn't want to be on the water with one of those in the cabin! Shiver again.

 They really only look a lot fiercer than they are Julie.
 People handle them , or keep them as pets !
 
 Huntsman spiders are generally shy creatures that usually run away from you , and fast. I was lucky that I had the camera nearby to get that picture.
 
 They may look a little intimidating , but the average Australian is pretty blase` about them as they are quite common.One of the most surprising things about them is their speed and the ability to run sideways , much like a crab.

 Bottom of the drop box is flush with the ceiling.
